Terms and Conditions (Pointers)

By using this Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, agree to, and will comply with these Terms, Conditions and the Policies "Terms of Use", and you agree that failure to comply with any of the Terms of Use will constitute a breach of these Terms (as amended from time to time).

Terms of Use

The acceptable ‘Terms of Use’ are as follows:

1. You agree to access and use the Platform only for lawful purposes (effective educational communication), and you will be fully responsible for familiarizing yourself with and complying with all laws, rules, regulations and policies relating to your use of the Platform.
2. You agree to treat all other parties with full courtesy and respect; otherwise, the Company has the right to take legal measures against you.
3. You agree to use the Platform for effective educational communication purposes and NOT to use it to commit a crime or encourage others to behave in a way that may be considered an information-crime.
4. You agree NOT to use or to publish illegal content such as discrimination, defamation or insults to students, parents or the school.
5. You agree NOT to use the platform for commercial purposes or for the benefit of third parties that are NOT authorized by The Pointer School.
6. You undertake to maintain the confidentiality of information and conversations, to protect the privacy of the students, parents and teachers and NOT to disclose any information or data related to any students, parents or teachers.

Teachers’ Terms and Conditions

1. Make sure to obtain written permission before posting the student's photo on the platform.
2. Respond to parents' inquiries and questions and provide them with approved study plans and circulars.

Parents' Terms and Conditions

1. Responses to inquiries addressed to the teacher or to the school administration will be made during the announced official working hours.

General Account Security & Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account, regardless of who performs it. This includes actions taken by a family member, spouse, colleague, third-party or any other person who gains access to your device or login credentials — whether with or without your permission. You must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to your account. Pointers is not liable for any loss or damage arising from third-party use of your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized access or suspected compromise of your credentials, you must notify us immediately.

Student Enrollment & Parental Consent

Students enrolled by a school on Pointers Platform(s) may access the platform through their parent or guardian's account. Students do not register independently. By allowing a student to access the platform through their account, the parent or guardian confirms their consent to that student's use of the Services. The school is responsible for ensuring students are enrolled only where appropriate parental or guardian consent has been obtained.

Communication Storage & Administrative Governance Access

Communications sent through Pointers Platform(s), including messages between staff and parents/guardians, are stored and may be accessed by authorised school management personnel for legitimate governance purposes such as dispute resolution, incident investigation, or quality assurance. All such access is logged. By using the platform's communication features, you acknowledge that your communications may be reviewed in this manner by your school's authorised administrators.

Voice Call Recording & Administrative Access

Voice calls made through Pointers Platform(s) may be recorded. You will be informed that a call is being recorded at the time it takes place. Recordings may be accessed by authorised school management personnel for legitimate governance purposes such as dispute resolution, incident investigation, or quality assurance. All such access is logged. By using the platform's calling features, you acknowledge that your calls may be reviewed in this manner.
